    Pilates Exercise System in Richmond

Pilates is great for people who are looking for a gentler, more holistic way to improve muscle tone, suppleness and functional strength, Pilates is incredibly beneficial if you want to lengthen, shape and stretch all your muscles and improve your mind-body connection, balance and endurance strength.

    What you should bring to your classes

    Wear clothes that you can move comfortably in but not too loose. Pilates is practiced in bare feet or sox. Please bring a Mat to do your exercises on and a towel.

    What to expect in a Group Pilates Mat Class

    Focus is on the basics of alignment, breath and technique Pilates Mat work is a good place to begin to learn correct movement technique. Emphasis is on applying the Pilates principles through each exercise, to increase strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Please bring a mat to lie on and a towel. Provided are Pilates Circles, foam Rollers, Spikey balls and Therabands which are used during the class.

    Each Group Pilates Class is approximately 1 hour in length.

    Pilates Better Backs in Richmond

    Come experience Pilates Classes in the heart of Mitcham, inside Better Backs at our new address 9 Station street in our Pilates room. We have classes for beginners and  those more experienced.

    Pilates Classes times:

    Monday Night 5:45pm to 6:45 pm 6:45pm to 7:45pm (these classes can be combined depending on numbers)

    Tuesday Night , 6:30pm to 7:30pm*

    Wednesday Night 6:30pm to 7:30pm, 7:30pm to 8:30pm#

    Thursday Night 5:30pm to 6:30pm*, 6:30 to 7:30

    *Foundation Class or beginners class, #Advanced Class, All other classes are different levels of intermediate.     Pilates classes Cost

    1 week trial can be organised through our office and we run an express beginners course of 2-6 sessions at introduction prices from time to time. Please contact our office if you are interested in these.

    If regular once a week, a school Term is paid for before the start of the Term at $15 per week. for example $150 for 10 week term. Some terms may be shorter or longer.

  • Corporate/ Workplace Pilates

     

    Do you find it hard to find time to get to the gym, Pilates, yoga? Wouldn’t it be great if you could do it at your workplace?

    Well that is what this service is all about, Our Pilates instructor will come in and run workplace pilates.

    Our Pilates Instructor comes to your work or group to run a Pilates group class. Once off bookings are charged at $150 for a 1 hour session if within 20km of Mitcham, if outside this distance a traveling fee will also be added in. Term Corporate Fees $1100 for 10 weeks with same distance clauses.
