Dr Kirsten MacKinnon, Chiropractor is our newest team member for both Richmond and Mitcham. She is a skilled manual adjuster and loves helping people get back to their best. She joins our Melbourne based family chiropractic clinic with 5 years experience, after graduating with a Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in 2013.
Kirsten grew up in Newcastle and moved to Sydney to begin a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2008. After graduating she moved to the mid-north coast of NSW, where she started her chiropractic career before moving to Melbourne in 2017. During her time in Taree on NSW’s mid-north coast Kirsten treated a variety of sports injuries, women with pelvic floor issues and helped people get back to optimal strength and function following orthopaedic surgeries.
Kirsten is skilled in Dry Needling, low force and manual adjusting, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) with Smart Tools and Women’s health rehabilitation. Kirsten was a dancer from age 4 which has led to her passion for helping people with sporting injuries. Dr Kirsten is working out of our two offices in Melbourne, one in the outer east in Mitcham the other in the heart of the city in Richmond not far from Burnley Station and the tram stops on Bridge Road near Burnley Street.
