  • What to expect in a group mat class

    Pilates - Better Backs Melbourne

    What you should bring to your classes

    Wear clothes that you can move comfortably in but not too loose. Pilates is practiced in bare feet or sox. Please bring a Mat to do your exercises on and a towel.

    What to expect in a Group Pilates Mat Class

    Focus is on the basics of alignment, breath and technique Pilates Mat work is a good place to begin to learn correct movement technique. Emphasis is on applying the Pilates principles through each exercise, to increase strength, flexibility, balance and endurance. Please bring a mat to lie on and a towel. Provided are Pilates Circles, foam Rollers, Spikey balls and Therabands which are used during the class.

    Each Group Pilates Class is approximately 1 hour in length.

    Pilates Better Backs in Richmond

    Come experience Group Fitness Classes in the heart of Mitcham, inside Better Backs at  9 Station street in our Botique Gym Studio. We have classes for beginners and  those more experienced. Classes depend on density limits 8 if unrestricted and 4 if restricted

    Lunchtime Workout is designed for busy professionals who want to add exercise into their day. Its an all over body conditioning workout in just 30 minutes.

    Monday Lunch time 12:00-12:30pm and 12:30-1:00pm

    HIIT is a 30 minutes High Intnsity Interval training workout used by lots of athletes, actors designed to improve cardio fitness and metabolism, build lean muscle  and drop fat. This helps with burning more calories for hours after the workout.

    Tuesday Night 6:00pm-6:30pm and 7:-7:30pm

    Circuit is a 60 min Strength and conditiioning class that moves  around different stations and targets different muscle groups. This type of Class is great for overall body toning, suitable for all fittness levels and can be easily adapted to your fitness level.

    Thursday Night: 6:30-7:30pm

    Unfortuneatly during lockdowns group fitness can not be offered in person. However 1 on 1 can be if you meet the requirements. –

  • Corporate/ Workplace Pilates

     

    Do you find it hard to find time to get to the gym, Pilates, yoga? Wouldn’t it be great if you could do it at your workplace?

    Well that is what this service is all about, Our Pilates instructor will come in and run workplace pilates.

    Our Pilates Instructor comes to your work or group to run a Pilates group class. Once off bookings are charged at $165 for a 1 hour session if within 20km of Mitcham, if outside this distance a traveling fee will also be added in. Term Corporate Fees $1350 for 10 weeks with same distance clauses.
